very cool zimm, you seem to like this subject

I like the blood droplet's and their reflections.

the head of the... thing... is really cool, the abstractness is very eye-catching.
only thing I don't like is the white background, it blends too much with the length of the ... tentacle... in some places.

yes, the background should be dark in the middle, so the two main parts would be better highlighted. What about shorten it in the middle, there is more than necessary, I think....

i really like it. awsome colors and such. Coool little abstract object you have! so neat! What i also liek is the simplicty and the length of the object. it takes you down to the ground. really neat. Only crit. i have and its real picky:

The reflection of the blood on the floor is wrong. The real blood is dropping on the floor, the reflection would be right tight up the the blood. The affect you have makes it seem the fallen blood is floating. know wat i mean? lol. Only one that shud be elevated is the one dropping off. Maybe u did it purpose, or dont care.

maybe a bit of texture on the white long tail.

anyways nice peice i really enjoy it. Kinda looks salvador DAHLI style

i totaly agree about the background blending in with it.......i didn't think about it when i was doing it, i just ran a gradient over a white background

yeah, the floating drops......i had originally wanted them to look like they were splashing from the object.....so i had overused the liquify filter on them to create splashes

,....... but........yucky

i agree that it would have made more sense to bring the reflections up underneath them in this case..................

yeah, sometimes i get abit lazy........bad zimm, needs spanking now

texture on the tail............actually, there is in the large version, it's very subtle though, so i guess under compression, you can't see it.......but, it's there

the coloring on the upper part is very good, however the metal pipe coming down from it, looks a little flat
very interesting work that is one this for sure
